Hey there Magnificent You,
I hope your holidays were a warm and satisfying time when you had a chance to get away from it all (even for just a little bit, to your own bed or bathtub) and create the space so you could get feel your own magnificence and strength, see your own holy day shine.
Now that January’s in full bustle, I’m finding it oh so easy to get overwhelmed catching up on all the email, phone calls, and housework that built up over the holidays — I found myself muttering, “What vacation?” this morning when someone asked me how it was! The craziness of getting back into gear can take any holiday peace and knock it right out of your mind, body and spirt. I’m watching myself get knocked all loopy and then finding ways back to my center, and declining to beat myself up for getting stressed out, thank you very much.
That’s why I’m writing, to tell you about today’s blog article on ComfortQueen.com is called “How to Slow Down the Uncertainty Rollercoaster and Find Your Center Again.” Writing it helped me to calm down and it includes a calming, centering audio from one of my trusted friends Michael Neill. Would you read it, listen to his two-minute centering meditation and let me know what you think in the comments? I love to connect that way!
You can read it here.
Here’s to staying centered (as best we can) in 2009!
Love love love,
Jen
P.S. In the post, you’ll notice me mention a little bonus/contest for people who sign up for the Virtual Retreat that’s starting next weekend. If you’re already registered — don’t worry, you’ll get the bonuses and you’re automatically entered into the contest to win $700 of personal one-on-one coaching with me! Now please read that post — I’d really, really love to hear what you think of it!
P.S.S. I will get back to a more regular newsletter — getting ready for the Virtual Retreat and the Comfort Cafe and Life Spa membership site has maxed out my word capacity — but just for a few more weeks. It does feel good to be creating again, such a grand antidote for fear and worry!
