Darling, the party has moved! After 10+ years and so many breath-taking adventures, I've laid down my crown and picked up...the Savor & Serve Experiment. Come see what it is.

Art Can Save the World

Read the comments from my last post for a huge uplift and here are some wise words from Dan:

"Jennifer,
This is an easy topic for me.
YES, Art can save the world.

Art is the truest form of communication. It is personal, it is true and it allows for various interpretations. The child in us is the closest to our true soul as we can ever be. As we grow, we are told (taught) to act like an adult. Grow up! Get serious! And the artist in us is criticized and usuallywithers up and dies. Few adults feel there is an artist inside them, when each of us has so much to share. Our life is a testament to our experiences and our expression of them. Painting, poetry, dance! One of the small ways that I have attempted to address this issue is with my website,ZeroGDanno.com. It’s a kid’s craft and creation site, with a retro space
theme. Hopefully, boys will be drawn to it by it’s theme and cast of characters who travel the universe sharing craft secrets. And girls will be interested in the creative options that it lays out with colorful, step-by-step directions."

More words from Dan and Marney at Artella.com on my upcoming podcast–up tomorrow, I swear!

Meanwhile, we’ve had amazing frost here, the book finally shipped to everyone–I personalized every copy to make up for the delay–and I working on a painting that keeps getting worse.

Oh and I got the best email from my Writer’s Spa partner Suzanne Falter-Barns about the new book: "I hang up from our call, hit the tub with your book, read into the night, read on the ferry … I’m hooked and feeling the need to reconnect and AM … so thank you.

Then I get home from being gone all day and get an email from someone that could have easily thrown me for a loop. Did I get dramatic? No. Did I weave a story about it? No. I put my hand on my heart, checked in and am just quietly sitting with it not sure what if anything I’ll do about it.

Thanks to your book, a healthy response."
