"The insights I received from your retreat helped me transform my old patterns
of making things difficult and that has truly been life changing.

I am also grateful for the amazing support I felt from Maria and each sweet sister
who sat in circle, shared stories, laughed, cried, collaged and meditated together...

As a result of this joyful journey, I've been able to see my own dream take flight:
tangible proof that when we listen to our souls, and our soul sisters, magic happens!"

THE LUSCIOUS ART OF YOUR LIFE

Sensual Inspiration to Juice Your Spirit
with Best-selling Author Jennifer Louden and
 Award-Winning Musician Maria Kostelas

October 19, 20 and 21, 2007
Bainbridge Island, Washington

Who will you become when you make time for your creative spirit?

Who will you become when you let
yourself experience true rest and spontaneous play?

What could you create from a full inner well?

 Calling all artists of life!

If you have ever faced the blank page, empty canvas, or the beginning of a new day with the intention of diving into your creative self, only to realize hours later that you have misplaced your creative juice in the trance of doing, you are not alone!

Nothing can be created, whether a great marriage, a fabulous novel, a breathtaking garden or delicious meal when you are exhausted, frazzled, off center, and in any way depleted. Nor can you create if you are paying constant homage to the inner critic, trapping yourself in self-created stories of limitation or perfectionism.

We have a fantastic, luscious solution: a multi-sensory,
experiential retreat to liberate the art of your life.

We will delight you with creative experiences of nourishment, all designed to help you fill your well and rejuvenate your creativity. It's a time to celebrate the creative vessel that is uniquely, beautifully you.  It's a time to turn off the mind and turn on the Spirit. It's recess. We will play together with story, music, collage and gentle movement.

...all the for the sake of replenishing the life-giving
gifts of inspiration that juice us into be-ing.

Doing is a necessary part of creation, but in order to tap into the source of creation we must be willing to simply BE. All it takes is a second of be-ing and we can create a masterpiece. Come join us for this special retreat and experience being a master artist of your life.

Your life can be the best masterpiece you’ve ever created.

"Maria's music creates a deep sense  of tranquility. She has a remarkable ability to make a powerful connection  with her audience as she intuits their needs and composes beautiful  melodies which open, heal and transform. Her intuitive music invites  the listener to experience who they are more fully." --Judith Orloff, M.D

our schedule

Friday night (Oct. 19) we will come together in a ritual and intention circle. Maria will also perform a special sound healing concert in which she will compose an intuitive song for each participant to facilitate a sacred release and receive process. We'll get you grounded and relaxed!

Saturday (Oct. 20) we'll be spending our day in music making (no experience needed, really!), collage, expressive painting, journaling, movement and play, all designed to rekindle the spark of your inner creator and allow you to experience the timelessness of your being. You'll also learn simple ways to bring home self-care and creative jumpstarts.

Sunday (Oct. 21) we'll be focusing on integrating what we've learned and bringing the wisdom into our lives in ways that can sustain us--until our next retreat!

"The retreat was a remarkable learning experience. The weekend was a turning point for me. On a daily basis, I am better able to know how I am feeling, to listen to my body, to relax and accept the moment, and to be gentler with myself, and as a result, to others near me. I am much more sensitive to the benefits of taking good care of myself, not in terms of vanity but in terms of fulfilling a greater potential of being alive. Thank you for the wonderful work you do." --Laraine

"It was so satisfying and rewarding and revealing. I was so spiritually touched, I am still trying to put into words how I feel in my own mind.  The most amazing thing is the sense of peace. Calmness. It's like the earth is listening to me and I to it. It's amazing that I can actually stop my tapes running in my head." --Ginny Henry
