Examples of Jennifer's art... hit refresh for more!

Darling, the party has moved! After 10+ years and so many breath-taking adventures, I've laid down my crown and picked up...the Savor & Serve Experiment. Come see what it is.

Beginnings are Tenuous and Thready

I’m writing a lot and thinking about writing a lot – because I’m coaching a small group of incredible writers and because I’m planning Walking into the Fire without Burning to a Crisp (not the real title but you have to click here to see the actual real title) that I’m cooking up NOVEMBER 6TH with the most gorgeously fab Susan Piver and Patti Digh. (I can’t wait to hear what they are going to teach!)

I was stretching my back this morning – kettle ball class last night – and had a thought about beginnings and threads of creative projects  – here’s a quick me on-the-floor offered for your chortling pleasure.

Oh, Jen – this was so perfect and lovely and exactly what I needed to hear! You are such a blessing… one of my favorite teachers. I hope to do another writing workshop with you sometime soon (hey, it’s been 8 years since Writer’s Spa #1!).

    Much love,

OK woman. Really? Soooo needed to hear this (and see your face) today.

    Thank you!

And can’t wait to see you on November 6! It’s going to be fabulous. I just know it!

WOW Jen! This is brilliant. JUST the thing I needed to be reminded of … and you’ve got me thinking about that writing notebook decluttering project I’ve been planning. Maybe I shouldn’t??

Just perfect, Jen…so many new beginnings in my life right now and I want them to be further along, already!

Would love to go to Portland, but it’s hubby’s birthday and somehow I don’t think he’d be up for spending it in a hotel room while I cavort with the girls.!

With my eyes closed and a smile, I say thanks. I just finished telling my daughter how from an absolute high of almost being done with my life coaching course I spiraled into what do I do now. And here you are chattin it up about that beginning. I keep on wondering how do I put it together? I feel like I don’t know what I am doing? I need help? Wait, I can’t afford help!! OMGoodness wth!! then back to it will be okay, really. Thanks for reminding and confirming!! Thanks for being soul honest!!

I send you super (((hugs)))) from all the way over here. You are a teacher and a mentor but the greatest virtue I really am blessed by is that you are a friend=sojourner. I love that about you.

    Grace And Space to you!!

Like the other commenters, this is exactly the reminder I’ve been needing to hear and no doubt will continue to need to hear as I continue with the long and “thready” process of birthing ideas. I’m actually going to set up reminders for myself to revisit this post once a month or something. You’re so right that no matter how well we understand these things, we *forget*. And it feels so much better when we remember.
