oh my darling...
what gorgeous questions!
they feel filled with space and lightness...
and comfort, strangely enough :)

If I could do or be or feel anything this week, what would it be?
I would like to feel gently successful, riding a strong sailing boat across calm seas. I would like to feel like I have the space to breath.

Am I willing to take one doable step toward what I want? *How might self-trust help me take that step?

Yes. I will sit with my To-Do list, and note what is true and right for me right now, and only do those.

What one basic need do I want to pay attention to this week?

Nurturing and creating and making time for loving space between me and my love.

How and to where can I slip away for a mini-retreat very soon? (Even a half hour!)

I will take my picnic blanket to the parket during a lunch hour.

When I think of a current favorite shadow comfort or time monster (for me: food) I think I could actually be hungry for…

Comfort. Stillness. Fullness. Self-care.

This week, I choose to take back my life... take it back from this flu that has gripped it for the last week and a half... UGH! LOL!

What I'm noticing about myself and just being with this illness is that, I've really just needed to be gentle with myself. And to realize that I create my days, and if I need to create some time to rest - it's mine to create.

Nothing in my life moves forward without me. So if I need to take time to re-charge, everything will be there when I'm ready :)

Hi Jen,
I just ordered the Life Organizer and I can't wait for it to arrive!

If I could be anything this week I would be- energized!

Step I am taking to get there- Cleansing (time to give my body a chance to redefine what it needs and clear out old messages).

Basic need: I am with you on the stretching and water!

Mini Retreat- a trip to the bookstore!

Shadow Comfort/Time Monster- haning out on the computer. I think I am craving more creativity in my life and I have been avoiding my guitar. I need to make more space in my life for music this week.

Thanks, Jen. See you at the Cafe!

Goodmorning Jennifer,
I had forgotten about the book myself (blushes shamefully). Thought i had completed the pages long ago and that was it. Then I read on Saturday a paragraph in a book, "A room of her own", by Charlotte Moss. She stressed the importance of claiming a room (or corner or sanctuary) of your own before anyone else does.
Then and there i noticed this pattern in my life. I do not know how to call this. I suppose it is a fear of claiming and a self-vicrimising pattern.
Anyway, as I was furiously clearing out the room that is supposed to be my workshop but has instead turned into everyone's dymping ground, I found your book on a shelf, the "absolutely must not pack away" stack that was hidden behind old photos and letters. I sat there and then and oh what a comfort. There was my comforting, stimulating, self-loving queen!
Now I read this, and the Comfort Cafe (no idea how this escaped my attention; perhaps you should post about it again for other overseers as well ), and I am so glad to find my welcoming anchor again!
Have a graceful week, dear Jennifer.
