You wrote, "The simplest thing I can do when I am afraid is to move but because it means feeling and letting go, I do everything but move."

OMG, yes, yes, yes. Thank you for saying this!!

My yoga teacher went away for a few weeks, and I told her when she leaves, I always want to keep my practice up, but I always find something else to do... She asked me to write to her every day what yoga I celebrate with... to help me remember to do it, to push a bit.

So, I have *thought* of yoga all day yesterday. Did a few half-salutes, but I needed more, I *felt* it. Today, tho it's only mid-day, again I feel the NEED to do some real yoga. I crave it.

And yet, I'm not doing it. Why?

You just said it...

"The simplest thing I can do when I am afraid is to move but because it means feeling and letting go, I do everything but move."

Yep. That's it right there.

Hola gorgeous Jen,
I write to you from Australia ~ an ocean away from the US, and yet we are still watching, waiting, to see what unfolds. What is true for me however ~ is that no matter what happens ~ no matter what man becomes President ~ no matter what ~ everything will be fine. Not just fine, but perfect, and as it is needed to be. It will be blessed and holy and filled with hope and light and joy, just as it is right now.
Wishing you a gorgeous shining day,
Leonie

Another good option is to find some music you love, put it on the stereo, turn it up loud and just dance (and sing along, if you feel like it). Maybe it is music you are a bit embarrassed to like, but from a happy place.
