Darling, the party has moved! After 10+ years and so many breath-taking adventures, I've laid down my crown and picked up...the Savor & Serve Experiment. Come see what it is.

Experiment Results

Lain wrote in comments that she also flows (and jumps)  through her day and that she notices she gets things done but "I can feel disconnected — that I’m not totally "in" to whatever I’m doing. Focus
is something I’m working to develop."  Thanks, Lain for pointing out the difference between flow and jumping or running through our days: presence.  Being present.

So what I learned from my experiment is 1) no judgment about jumping/flowing between activities and 2) being with what I’m doing, and noticing if I’m off to the next thing because I’m genuinely drawn or because I’m living in the future.  There is a bodily connection that needs to be present, an awareness of body and breath, of back and feet, a grounding and then the jumping is flowing and it is delicious.
