One of the things I'm noticing as I read all the great comments is how hard it is for me to take in the wonderful ideas, love, and grand support... and how each day a little more gets in there, into my heart, and I tell myself, "It really is okay."

Thank you.

I write this sitting between two dogs on my friend's couch... the book might be starting to come together... then why am I over here blogging?? :)

Hey friend!

Did you really not know I was blogging? Sheesh, I would've thought the whole world knew. Well, at leaast the part that revolves around me. ;-)

I appreciate sue's comment about my views on the resilience, humor, and humility needed to "go with the flow." And, knowing you, Jen, [I assess] you have humongous helpings of humor and humility. And resilience? Well, darn it all, you can do your best and sometimes life still happens.

That is to say, we learn a lot about self care and foundation on this path (and we learn a lot of it from YOU), but the challenge is more complex than just filling the well. Life goes on, and suddenly your parents are becoming dependent, your children are becoming independent, and your body (hello, menopause!) has developed a mind of its own. (Don't know about you, but it's a regular party over here.) So, while I expect that fully enlightened critters do, in fact, get to the point where they always go with the flow (because they are One with it), until we get THERE, I think we'll always have experiences when we not only are not gloing with it, but we're damned if we can find the direction it is flowing.

So carry on, my friend. Your deep commitment to inner knowing combined with your passionate ambition to share what you learn may always bring you to this edge. I hope so, because each time you get beyond an edge, the rest of us get to benefit.

Here's to you, Jen!

Molly

Thanks for the referral to your friend's blog...found some really good information on failure...she suggests that you look a the degree of resilence, humor and humility required to go with the flow...so maybe Jen you are fighting the flow instead of going with it....
take care

I've been without an internet connection for a month...just roaming around, getting caught up on people's lives... Hope the writing's going well.
