I did two radio shows this morning, one for this week and one for next, because my family has decided to take a few days snow play in the Methow valley.
I learned two things from my two exceptional guests i wanted to share for those of you who can’t listen in.
From Amy Weintraub, I learned that for yoga to change our mood, we must practice everyday, even if it’s for two or ten minutes. That was so clear and helpful to my jumpy mind that likes to constantly come up with ever more complicated reasons why it’s okay not to do something like yoga every day.
From Eric Maisel, I learned what to do for my "fluid attention" that can have such a hard time focusing on one project at a time. Take a five second inhale and silently say, "I am completely" and then on the five second exhale, "stopping."
He also talked about the importance of using your sleep to help your work… more about that tomorrow!

I’m studying with Eric Maisel right now. Isn’t he neat? We are learning about artist identities. Apparently there are many types of artist identities and how you can create. I never really thought of it before. I think most of us have trouble admitting we are artists in the first place, let alone establishing an “identity”.
I’m new to your blog, but familiar with your books. Is there an online archive of your radio shows? (I’m going to go look right now.)
