Darling, the party has moved! After 10+ years and so many breath-taking adventures, I've laid down my crown and picked up...the Savor & Serve Experiment. Come see what it is.

On Anger

I am so… so what?  Happy?  That would be weird… relieved?  No, that isn’t right because it implies I need your approval, as my readers. Less alone – that’s it!

We are all pissed off.  We will open our windows and yell, "I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore."  We can use our anger – without confusing it with fear or becoming self-righteous or even burning out.  Anger can be fuel.

There are many glorious posts under the different entries about my Self-Care Minder newsletter about anger. Thank you for your honest fierce glow.

And for those of you who haven’t read the Self-Care Minder, it is at http://www.comfortqueen.com/newsletters/Sep032005.htm

Your mind tells you that it is easier to be angry than in depair, depressed, hurt or hopeless. Anger is temporary – you can get over it a lot more easily than other emotional states. It also gives you the adrenalin to fight, even if you are so angry you can’t see straight. The other mental states make you want to lie down and give up…anger is a painful stimulant. You are allowed to be angry at the disease and even at God – he can handle it. It it begins to threaten your health, or you beel like you have strss hormones coursing through your veins instead of blood, have your doctor evaluate you for anxiety and possible medications to get those knots out of your stomach and brain. Feel free to reply.
