I took Embedded Encaustic yesterday with the inspiring Patricia Seggebruch and made three muddy wax messes and I felt bummed. It isn’t that I wanted to make something "good" or that I compare myself to what others were making (in fact I wish I had taken more time to look at what others were making), it’s that I don’t know what I want to make, express, say!!
Off to class… more later. Sigh but good sighs because I’m also getting to spend time with my amazing friend Mary who is in love and we got to have high school moments last night waiting for him to email… giggle, giggle.

Those are special time…..Bob, my husband is off this weekend doing the same things with his dearest old friend from High School after they just buried another this weekend.
Precious moments & memories for him before as we prepare to leave our dear friends & families for our ‘pioneering’ out to New Mexico for a new life of NEW friends…yet the old ones are our our history…our anchor to the past & SO needed in this transient world we live in.
It’s nic to know you understand that ‘truth’ in your life too, Jen….can’t wait to meet you in July in Taos..(*_*)
