2008 Writer’s Spa Daily Schedule

IMPORTANT NOTE: During each day’s scheduled Writing Time, either Suzanne or Jennifer will be available in the gazebo/pergola by the front walk to answer any concerns or questions you may have about your writing. In the event of rain (unlikely), we'll be in the living room.

Items in red are mandatory for all attendees. It's especially essential to the Writer's Spa process that you attend and our Opening Remarks on Workshop/Getting Grounded and our Final Session, Declaring Your Writing Future and Beginning the Writing Life. Please arrange your travel as much as possible to be there for our opening and closing and please do not schedule a massage or sight seeing during red times. Thanks.

12:30-1:30 Lunch at Mabel Dodge
You can write during this time or carry your lunch to wherever you want – including the dining room. You don't have to be social!
1:30 – 3:15 Seminar: Loving the Inner Critic (with Jennifer)
Writing exercises, small group discussions and lecture about learning how to deal with the voices in your head.
3:15 - 4:00 Free time
(You can also use this time to go into town, take a hike, relax, or do whatever you wish...or write!)
4:00 - 5:15 Yoga (for all levels)
6:00 - 7:00 Dinner
7:15 - 8:15 Evening Council

(with Suzanne and Jennifer)

Our final session, which helps you cement what you have discovered at the Writer’s Spa and put it into play in your life once you leave. Important exercises, guided visualization work and closing ritual.
(Please try to stay for final session if at all humanly possible.)
