"Isn't it amazing how life gives us just what we need when we need it? I finished Comfort Secrets for Busy Women last night but I'll never be finished. Your book inspired me to write in it, highlight it, re-read sections...i've never been so actively involved in a book! The book NAMED the things I struggle with in my life, it put in black & white the inspirations I've picked up a little here and there...it made my progress as a women feel tangible. My favorite idea is that of waiting and listening. I've struggled so hard to be "successful" (as measured by ANY & ALL yardsticks except the ones that are IN me) but now I'm pushing up against the goals that no amount of pushing or force of will can make happen. (Like finding a life partner.) I've been learning that there is something else beyond "DOING" that's important, I've been able to get as far as it has something to do with "BEING" but I had no idea how DO "BEING". I'm slowly learning that being isn't about doing anything. Being is about waiting, watching, listening, soaking up life, slowing down, being quiet.
