I’m sitting near the Whidbey ferry listening to myself on the radio while looking out at the bay. I’ve never heard myself on the radio before. Life is wonderfully odd.

Oh how I miss the Whidbey Island Ferry. And all the ferries. I lived in the puget sound for 12 years but wasn’t in a creative frame of mind at that time nor knew about all the creativity that was there in that area. When listening to myself on an answering machine I always wonder who it is.

Yes life is weird, I think you are a brave
soul to listen to yourself, ha, I sound
like a baby to myself,
If Whidby is your lsland, I want to say Thanks to you and your
neighbors for the best day I have spent all
year. I got off the ferry and walked and rode
the bus and talked all day to the residents,
the shopkeepers, artists and the visitors of the island.
I can’t wait to come visit again..
