Darling, the party has moved! After 10+ years and so many breath-taking adventures, I've laid down my crown and picked up...the Savor & Serve Experiment. Come see what it is.

Your Brilliance

Are you not completely and utterly uplifted by the quality and heart of the comments to the newsletter? My golly gosh you are all stellar spirits.

I have learned so much but much more importantly, I imagine this web of women getting up to do the work of the day — and just knowing we are, helps me.

Radio show update: the self-care when a loved one is ill show will be NEXT WEEK. Please please consider calling in next Sunday. I’ll be sharing your ideas with the auidence, that’s for sure!!

Love,

Jen

for me, the energy to continue every morning to get up, give care, share love, and work….comes from the same place that keeps us all alive-my heart. and for me, all of these moments blend as one. i am a RN and I work for a Hospice in South Florida. I manage a team of nurses, and aides, a social worker and a chaplain, a doctor and a secretary: all of whom on a daily basis are providing care, support and comfort for people who are dying, their caregivers and their loved ones. I have been a nurse for 20 years and i have never had a more satisfying and fulfilling job. i work 6 days a week and every night i put my head on my pillow knowing i made a difference for someone. the thought of hospice frightens people, but, today hospice is about dying w/dignity and comfort. it is about guidance through the dying process, support through the grief process. oh, i could write forever but for those of you that read so this so far, i thank you for letting me share my heart
